  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions

How to make it

  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees and grease a square baking dish.
  2. Whisk the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another.
  3. Combine just until no dry pockets remain.
  4. Bake until golden and set in the center, about 20 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly and slice into shareable squares.
